Dr. Kiesel was born and raised in Central Indiana. Upon graduating from high school, he served four years in the U.S. Army as an Airborne Infantryman with the 1-501st Parachute Infantry Regiment. During that time, he was stationed in Fort Richardson, Alaska, and deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
After his time of service, he returned to Indiana. While working as an emergency medical technician and lab technician at Indiana University (IU) Hospital and IU Clinical Research Center, he completed his undergraduate degree in Biology at IUPUI and was accepted into dental school at Indiana University School of Dentistry. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Kiesel has been married to his wife, Heather, for sixteen years. The couple has three children together. In his free time, Dr. Kiesel likes to play guitar and go for family bike rides on the Monon.
Experience
Dr. Kiesel has completed extensive continuing education in dental technology, 3D imaging, and oral surgery. He completed a general practice residency at the VA Medical Center in Indianapolis, Indiana. Dr. Kiesel is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the Indiana Dental Association.
